These 25 tracks date from the mid-'60's have been out of print for over three decades. Featuring two chart hits, 'I Just Can't Say Goodbye' and 'Diana', his complete album Somebody Loves You, 12 non-LP singles and two unreleased tracks 'Blue For You' and 'Mohair Sam'. Standard jewel case. 2001 release.

Audio CD: Bobby Rydell

Reviewed by Svend Aage Andersen, 2007-10-31

I was a satisfied customer, until I received this cd from amazon. The reason for my dissatisfaction, frustration and anger was that in order to receive the cd I had to pay an extra ten pounds (106 DKR) at the post office as toll (fee) to the danish toll authorities. This is an import fee just for handling the goods. As I had allready paid the sum of 25,46 dollars, the total price for the record amounted to 251 DKR, appr. 25 english pound, which I actually think is too much. This extra cost was a total and unpleasent surprise for me! I was really close to neglicting to receive the cd because of this extra cost. And in this way return it to amazon. But then, I thought, I might have lost what I had allready paid, and besides I would not get the cd.
Another time I will be much more disinclined to buy cds that may be shipped from New Zealand. As I was later informed at the post office, the Danish toll authorities take samples, and apparently especially, when the parcel arrive form so far away places as New Zealand. So, I will never again buy a cd, when it has to be shipped from New Zealand. Last saturday I received another cd (Craig Douglas: "Looking Back"), which was also shipped from New Zealand, and again I had to pay an extra 126 DKR (11 english pounds). This way it is no more favourable to buy through amazon.
Sincerely yours,
Svend Aage Andersen

If someone only now discovers the music of the talented Robert Ridarelli and wants to buy this item as a "theme" album where he shows his talents, go for it, but in hie heyday, we did not care about anything but the hits and there are damn few here.

Wow - what a voice - great range and power!

Great listening! This collection of songs show what a great talent he has! He sings his heart out ... these songs allow you to hear how beautiful his voice is and the range he has. If you are a fan you'll enjoy this CD.

"Forget him" is missing

Strangely enough, Bobby's great hit "Forget Him" is not included while the flip side of "Forget Him", "Love love go away" does not appear on this disk either.

While I like the music and the vocals performed by Bobby Rydell,if I had I had known that songs contained on this CD were not his hit songs I most likely would not have purchased this CD
